Store Donations

Two easy ways to make a donation:

  1. Drop-off donations at our ReStore. If you are unsure if we will accept your donation, please call the store. Text a photo of your donation to 970.946.5491. Donations are accepted at the ReStore – Tuesday through Saturday between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Click here for a map of our store location.
  2. Call to arrange for our crew to pick up your donation at 970.382.9931. Due to SJBPH Guidelines, we cannot enter your home, pick-ups have to be curbside only.

A receipt acknowledging your donation will be given to you at the time of your donation. Store restrictions and legal obligations do not allow us to place a value on your donated items. Your donation is tax-deductible. Please consult your tax professional for details.

Thank you for respecting our limitations. Please DO NOT dispose of unwanted items on our premises or in our dumpsters…it takes funds away from our mission. Help us serve those needing affordable homeownership options. Security cameras have been discretely installed throughout to protect our interests. We reserve the right to reject any items we will be unable to resale.

All donations must be in resellable condition (we do not have the ability to repair items).

We accept appliances that are in good condition. No gas appliances, only electric. If you still have your owner’s manuals, please include them in your donation. We can only take appliances 6-years-old or newer.

Cabinets must have doors, shelving, etc. No water or mold damage. Please have doors and drawers attached to the cabinets.

We only accept doors if they are in good condition. No hollow core doors are accepted. They must not have holes, cracks, rotting, etc.

We accept NEW Carpet only (carpet that has been just laid down and taken out of the home prior to living on it). We cannot accept any padding that has been used or glued down.

We accept all furniture in resalable condition with no rips or stains. No pet damage.

We accept hardware for doors, cabinets, etc. No electrical cords or outlets will be accepted. Keyed hardware must have a key or it will not be accepted.

At this time we only accept brushed nickel or black light features. No brass light fixtures, baluster or light bulbs accepted.

We accept full and 1/2 sheets of plywood. We accept full lengths of lumber. We will accept trim in smaller pieces, but no less than 4 feet long. Please make sure there are no nails sticking out of lumber.

We accept tubs, sinks and vanities if they are clean and in good condition. We accept efficiency toilets only if it is in complete working condition. They must be very clean!! We will not take a dirty toilet under any circumstances. We do not accept little plumbing fixtures or attachments.

We accept 4′ and over of any type of pipe, and all supplies and fittings. PVC pipe may not be sun rotted.

We accept standard size, double pane windows of all types if the glass is intact. Most windows will show use, even if they are newer. If they are casement type, we appreciate having the hardware and cranks.

We accept all hand and power tools in working condition.

We accept all types of roofing material such as rolled roofing material, tar and bundles of new shingles.
